Sure I promised to share photos as soon as I got back.
Sure it’s been eight months.
And for certain, I’m ready to go again.
Because as I told you here, more travel is in my immediate future.
In the meantime, I’m reading travel blogs (here’s a really good one written by a Latina who fell in love with a Ghanaian man while studying abroad), following travel instagram accounts, daydreaming, and plotting my next adventures. My time is coming. Like really soon!

Oh, check out my Travel Inspiration board on Pinterest:

Before I left for the UK, I blogged here and here about what I wanted to explore in London and Paris.
-
And now a few pics of what I actually experienced. I hope you enjoy! There are so many; I’m trying to pick and choose – and I don’t remember which day(s) any of this happened on. LB is intentionally missing from pics I’m posting. Thank you!

Sheperd’s Bush Market – I loved this area by the way. Very convenient to shopping at Westfield Mall and two Tube stations.

I did quite a bit more. LB and I had date night at The Gold Coast Bar & Restaurant where I had my first Ghanaian dish. It’s in the South Norwood neighborhood of South London. Went shopping and had lunch at Spitalfields Market), took quick jaunts to the Soho, Oxford Street and Fleet Street areas, and basically all around London on a personal tour. I like the city, and while transportation is nowhere near as convenient as the New York City transit system, which runs all night, I managed to get around with ease. Naturally, there are also more late night food options in the city that never sleeps (NYC), but I had plenty to eat in London!

And more Pinterest!
London Love:
PART TWO (a few pics from Paris) will follow. Stay tuned!
I’m excited about my current travel plans, which I’ll share more about as they manifest – or after I come back from the trips!!
It all starts with a vision, and then the ball gets rolling. Right?

Let me know if you’ve enjoyed the photos and or have travel stories and suggestions to share. (And if the slideshows play right.)
If you’ve been to London, Venice, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Madrid and or Zurich, tell me all you liked about the experience(s). Also, I’m still open to a way to get paid for traveling! Blogging opportunities? From Cabo Verde perhaps?

Me too! I’ll be back there soon. Happy traveling! I read about kundalini yoga classes in Barcelona. I may drop in on a beginner level session if I find one conducted in English.

Such a fantastic post! While I’ve done a lot of what you have about half the things here I’ve never seen! Time for me to get my skates on. I need to add some of these to my London list. Also that pic with you in front of the street art is epic!

Oh, I started pinning images as inspiration for my trip (things I wanted to see). And then I just kept saving them – because I’ll be coming back so I need to stay inspired. Lol. Didn’t make it there, nor the British Museum and the Tate. Time flies. I’ll be back in a few months.

Have you traveled to any countries in Africa, leaving from London and only stayed for a few days. Considering it. Morocco is close; however is 3 nights enough? Other ideas for a romantic getaway? 🙂 you can post links to your previous posts if you like. Lol
